Especially when treating facial wrinkles, it is important to achieve natural results. After all, we don’t want to erase our face’s personality. We just want to get rid of some lines here and there. A person’s facial expressions should definitely remain, which is why special caution is absolutely necessary here.
In addition, only high-quality substances are used in our practice for wrinkle treatment:

- Bulky hyaluronic acid

- Lactic acid (Sculptra®): particularly suitable for sunken cheeks, neck and décolleté wrinkles
- Radiesse®: for deep wrinkles, upper arm wrinkles
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of our skin. Depending on the skin’s needs, it can be processed in various consistencies and is highly tolerable. Collagen is a protein that is also naturally present in the body. Both substances are gradually absorbed in full by the body as biodegradable substances.
Wrinkle treatment using lactic acid, by contrast, restores a youthful appearance for a much longer period (up to two years). Lactic acid is not a filler in itself. Instead, it prompts the skin to fill itself by stimulating collagen production. That is also true of Radiesse®, a synthetic injectable skin filler consisting of microbeads of calcium hydroxylapatite. Calcium hydroxylapatite and its components calcium and phosphate are also naturally present in human tissue.
